SDNR Type M, Type S

SDNR
Compact driver size
The Driver size of the SDNR is less than one-third (1/3) the size of previous models, allowing a size-efficient design for the fastening system's enclosure.
High accuracy servo motor control
A high speed CPU and improved software thchnology allows for more precise servo motor control yielding a higher degree of fastening accuracy.
Multi-axis control
One (1) to thirty-two (32) units can be interfaced to one common controller. Various fastening strategies and fastening sequences can be selected on a per unit basis.
Enhanced system operation and response
High-speed network communication is used to program settings, acquire and display pertinent data, and perform maintenance functions among, other time-critical events.
Wide variety of tightening strategies available
Available standard fastening strategies include Torque Control with Angle Monitoring, Torque-Turn, Torque Tension, and Yield Point Detection Control.
Compact Multi-Controller (Type M) available
Various communication interfaces are available with the use of the Multi-Controller. These include discrete parallel I/O, binary coded decimal output, serial (RS232C) I/O, printer output, and Fieldbus (Device Net, Profibus, etc.) I/O.
Advanced Flexibility and Expandability
The SDNR Fastening System can be easily interfaced with other Sanyo products for data acquisition and machine control. These products include, but are not limited to, the Smart Terminal, the User Interface Terminal for Windows, and CETOP.
Support FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System)
Eight (8) different fastening programs and thirty-two (32) diffrent fastening parameters can be pre-programmed for each connected unit. This arrows selection on a cycle by cycle basis of different fastening speeds, fastening sequences, fastening strategies, operating parameters, and output shaft direction of rotation.
Reduced system wiring
A flexible, reliable composite cable assembly is used resulting in a two cable wiring system between the driver and th spindle assembly. Some previous models used a system comprised of three cables.
